Rosen Inn International Orlando Hotel Reviews

See What Others Have Said About Their Stay

If you’re planning a visit to Rosen Inn International on Orlando’s International Drive, we invite you to see us through the eyes of your fellow travelers by reading the hotel reviews below.

This was our second visit to this hotel. Its a inexpensive hotel and the breakfast buffet is comprehensive and caters for many tastes and dietary needs. The general staff are really friendly and helpful particularly Wendy who works in the restaurant. The reception staff could make more of an effort to be a bit more cheerful and welcoming though. The rooms have a coffee maker, fridge and microwave. I liked that the rooms are made up every day with fresh towels as standard. We stayed in LA last autumn for six times the price and had to ask for everything which made us quite uncomfortable. Whilst at the RII we did have a minor issue with the toilet on the first day but it was fixed about thirty minutes after reporting it. I understand things break and we thought the reponse time was reasonable. This hotel may not be the best on International Drive and the rooms may be considered a bit tired but it was clean and comfortable and we think its great for a budget break and would return.

The Rosen Inn is sprawling property with multiple buildings, three pools, two on-site restaurants (one with breakfast and lunch buffets, the other a bar and grill), plus a small convenience store. There's a bathroom building that also contains a small but surprisingly well-equipped workout room between two of the pools, and a children's playground. The pools are all heated. It was nice to be able to swim at the end of January (yeah it's Florida but it can still get chilly). I am VERY surprised to see reviews mentioning old rooms or roaches. Our room was clean and spacious. We had a king bed room in Building F. Bed was comfortable, bathroom immaculate and there were plenty of towels. There's a small safe tucked into one of the bedstands, which is easy to use -- I stashed our laptop and a couple of other valuables in it while we were on our evening out. The breakfast buffet is very reasonably priced and had an ample selection. All the staff we encountered were warm and polite. The location is excellent. That said, it's located right next to a very busy highway, but road noise wasn't intrusive. Lastly, I really don't get when people mention it's a motel, not a hotel. It just doesn't strike me as an issue, the rooms are definitely comparable to any hotel in the same price range in quality and thoughtful amenities. We're actually planning another stay soon -- the location can't be beat when you're visiting the theme parks!

I've never done a review before, but this hotel deserves one. Not one fault with the place. The location is great. Walkable distance to Icon Park. So many different shops around it too - Walgreens across the road McDonald’s next to it. And plenty of other fast food chains. A petrol station. Gift shops, etc. The hotel itself is great, a little shop selling everything you may need, an arcade. Buffet restaurant at a good price. Nice little lounge bar. The grounds are kept very well. The staff are great. The pool areas are lovely - very clean and have towels you can use. Our room is a nice size, with two double beds, fridge, and microwave. A large TV and ice cold aircon.

I've read that people say the rooms are dated but I disagree it's just dark wood fixings. The housekeeping do an amazing job with the room. If you rent a car or drive here it seems to be a 5 min drive from most places. Walmart. Target. Universal. Outlet village. Gatorland is about 15 min drive with entrances and exits on both sides, which makes it very easy to get to driving wise. 24/7 security, not that you need it from my experience. Traveled with an 8- and 11-year-old who loved it here, too. Don’t think I can describe how perfect this place is for the average family.
