Looking for ways to get the most out of Gatorland’s Halloween bash? Here is everything you need to know.

Gators, Ghosts and Goblins takes place on the weekends from October 10 through October 25, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Whatever plans you have for your Orlando Halloween vacation, there’s always an opportunity to stop by.

This event is included in regular park admission. Keep your wallet full while adding time for the park’s regular wildlife experiences and attractions.

When you’re not palling around with Halloween icons, you can say hello to Gatorland’s scaly and furry residents, ride through Florida’s backroads along the Stompin' Gator Off-Road Adventure, and soar through the air along the Screamin' Gator Zip Line.

Since this is a daytime, family-friendly event, there’s fun for Halloween lovers of all ages to have from sunrise to sunset. If you have children who aren’t old enough for more frightful entertainment, this is the place to be.

Feel like showing up dressed in your Halloween best? As long as your costumes are family-friendly, and don’t scare Gatorland’s beastly visitors too much, you’re good to go.

Halloween Creatures Galore

If you thought the alligators, wild cats, and other creatures that call Florida home could give you goosebumps, get ready for what awaits at Gatorland this Halloween.

Skunk Ape, the park’s own Florida Bigfoot, drops by with a hearty hello and joins in on the spooky celebrations. You can expect a beastly family outing with the additional appearance of Eddie the Yeti, Skunk Ape’s hairy cousin.

The ghoulish cameos don’t stop there. An eerie expedition awaits aboard the Cryptid Express as you venture aboard a train ride into the wild in search of the Chupacabra, Moth Man, Jersey Devil, and other enigmatic creatures.

There are more terrors to brave along a haunted walk-through of the Gatorland Graveyard guided by Cyrus the Gravedigger, portrayed by Gatorland Creative Director Dan Carro.

The Widows and Cyrus’s enthusiastic assistant Fritz frequent the graveyard, hauntingly happy to see new guests.

Embark on a sinister tour of the Swamp Ghost Museum of Classic Literature and learn more about the literary works of horror by Bram Stroker. The eerie atmosphere and jump-scares from monsters around any corner bring classic horror films to life.

“Our goal every year is to not just frighten people, but to enlighten people,” Carro says, emphasizing the desire for guests to leave with a new understanding of legends, with this year’s big focus being on Stroker’s works.

“We could’ve just done a haunted house and have Dracula jump out at you, but instead, we really wanted to try and go back to the literary roots and get people exciting about Dracula,” Carro added. “Maybe they’ll even go back and read the book, which would be great.”

Dracula himself, his assistant, werewolves, and other mysterious fiends do their best to snatch new victims. But with the help of Dr. John Seward and Quincy Morris, guests can escape the horrific tour and live to see another day.
